Alcuni vecchi brani Italiani

First time i heard Italian music I LIKE was during the Mondo Cane show in Holland.
Songs like: "L'Urlo Negro and Storia D'Amore are a MUST for your ears.
Now a few months later im having an Italian music flu,

Only shit songs i knew were from a girl named Laura pausini, CRAP!
And some dudes named Luciano Pavarotti and Andrea Bochelli but that really didnt gave me a "whuuuhuuuu" moment.
But then some strange Italian fregna introduced me to the "original" Mondo Cane songs and god DAMN they are too good! Must admid Patton did a wonderfull job by covering the old tunes.
Artist such as: I Blackmen, Adriano Celentano and EdoaRRRRRRRRRdo Vianello already convinced me. Happy Italian tunes haha. This is the point where people with the age of 50 come in: "music was way better back in the day" ok, now after hearing these tunes i must admid its way better than the fucking Beatles, WHO?!
Even tho my Italian is shit at this moment i cant help it singing along BUT with the words i make up ;) aight!
Thanx to Aurora Demasi i discoverd some "new artist"
just check out this song, trust me you will find yourself go "RRRRRRRRRRR" the whole fucking time:

Edoardo Vianello - Abbronzatissima(1963)

L'Urlo Negro Original (1967)

And the Italian Elvis Presley: Adriano Celentano - 24000 baci (1961)

one of the things that stroke me the most about the originals was that that L'urlo negro was covered "faithfully"... i mean, i had thought patton was adding his madness when shouting, but gosh! the original is actually pretty pattonite, isnt it?

and... i have been wondering, maybe aurora has sth to say about it, WTF were those guys singing about black slaves in italy in the 60's???

Anoniem zei

yeah Bir i agree with the urlo negro thing :P

:O guys singing about black slaves? italian guys? :O you know anything occurs to me with these ''key'' words :P they were famous? where did you listen to em? XD
